Biography
Sensei Jerell Cephas is the grandson of Professor Willard Cephas Sr & a nephew of Soke Will Cephas II and Kaiso Shawn Cephas. He started at the age of 3, learning martial arts. Out of his 28 years of learning, he has study over 13 different martial arts. Cephas Karate-Jiu Jitsu was taught to him by the Founders. Sensei Jerell Cephas received his Black Belt in Cephas Karate-Jiu Jitsu under Soke Will Cephas II in 2012. Now Sensei Jerell Cephas has opened his own studio in Las Vegas, NV in October 2017 and is carrying on his family legacy by teaching his community the martial way

Martial Arts Family
Coming from a family that has generations and generations of martial arts history, Sensei Jerell Cephas developed his passion for martial arts at a very young age. He started martial arts at the tender age of three years old. From then on, his immense passion for martial arts kept evolving. Finally, with the guidance of his family and the outstanding support of his friends and colleagues, he decided it was time for him to share his knowledge and skills to teach as a third-degree black belt in Karate-Jujitsu.
New Dojo
With his endless dedication, hard work, and determination, Sensei Jerell started small by teaching from his garage. He started offering private lessons, and by mere word of mouth, his clientele boosted significantly. After four years of being in business and being continuously dedicated to the craft, Sensei Jerell Cephas has now officially opened his own location, Cephas Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy. This academy specializes in teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Karate-Jujitsu, Kickboxing, & MMA.
